Marc
Millon
is a food, wine and travel writer, and the author of numerous books
as well as magazine articles published on both sides of the Atlantic.
Marc
works together with his wife photographer/designer Kim Millon and
this creative partnership means that editorial content and photographic
illustrations tie in together intimately in their joint work
indeed, as projects evolve, both words and pictures influence each
other.
While
most project work that Marc and Kim undertake is specially commissioned
with firsthand research undertaken on the spot, articles and books
can be illustrated with photographs from the Kim
Millon Photo Library.
"What
interests me most about food and wine is finding a way to place
it in the context of land, culture and the people who make
it. To achieve this, we travel extensively to research, gather
information, and photograph directly at the source."
The
author of Creative Content for the Web, published in 1999
by Intellect Books, Marc is also a new media consultant and web
designer. Together with Kim Millon, they are partners of Quay
Press. With their specialist publishing and web expertise, they
are able to offer an unrivalled combination of both in-depth knowledge
of web publishing and of food and drink subjects.
